Black Bean and Corn Salsa

-5-6 Large tomatoes, chopped
-1 can of black beans, drained
-1 can of corn, drained
-1 jalapeno (more depending on how hot you like it!)
-1 large green pepper, chopped
-1 large onion, chopped
-2, 3, or 4 cloves of garlic (I usually use 3 or 4, but I love garlic!)
-3 Tablespoons of dry parsley
-3 Tablespoons of white vinegar
-3 Tablespoons of olive oil (I like extra virgin)
-3 Tablespoons of lemon or lime juice...whatever you have on hand
-3 Tablespoons of Grey Poupon

Put all in a LARGE bowl together and you are done!! It is so very easy and not only will it please the crowd, but it will feed one, too. Sometimes I will make it up and put it in two different bowls since it makes so much...one for home and one for the event!

Happy 4th of July Weekend, Everyone! I love this weekend...it is full of fun, family, fireworks, cookouts and of course the pride of being an American and the love and support of the Armed Forces who make this all possible for us. It is an unbelievable weekend that I always look forward to! This particular weekend, we have three events on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I just need to make my Black Bean and Corn Salsa! It is the best! I will post the recipe in a bit!

New Vintage flowers!

I have been working hard on some new items. One being vintage flowers. They are absolutely gorgeous! They look adorable on little girls, but are also sophisticated enough to be worn by women as well! I tried wearing a few of them to work this week myself. Let me know what you think!
